Chris Mottalini was commissioned by Pin-Up magazine to photograph six homes by the Austrian/American architect R.M. Schindler (all are located in the Los Angeles area, like the majority of his work).  The homes (The Schindler house, the Fitzpatrick Leland house, the Buck house, the Inglewood Spec house, the Van Dekker house and the Elliot house) were built between 1922 and 1940. The series was also included in the exhibition Indirect Speech, in Barcelona and Girona, Spain.
